Sentry's indestructible vs sp3.

How come Sentry's indestructible works differently than Luke Cages vs a special 3? Their text description is almost identical, but LC just ignores damage from the sp3, whereas Sentry takes all the damage, and if he has enough health to survive, rewinds it all like old-school Magik.
