My champs still freeze mid combo

If I'm not mistaken, I could have sworn that this bug was supposed to have been fixed. My champs randomly go unresponsive mid combo. And I eventually get wrecked because of it. Yes I have done all the basic hoopla about restarting my device. We all know that doesn't really fix anything. I have an iphone 8 plus with iOS 11.4. I'm sure I am not the only one that experiences this. Thank you.
