New peak milestones

What is kabam thinking with these, yes the rewards are bigger for milestones but they took away brackets. This is more of catering to the whales in a very ridiculous fashion. Before I could see my roster of 5 stars and other alliance members growing faster with buying deals and slowly catching up higher tier alliances. But now there is no way to catch up, with the way they just changed aq and the way aw rewards are even if a gold 1 player like myself bought every deal kabam put out (which I do for the most part) and the higher alliances bought nothing, they would still out pace the growth of my roster by double. This makes me (and should other) want to quit the game.... as I see no way to compete in the future. Not to mention new players who are now screwed forever

Yes they took away brackets, but they more or less simply concatenated all the milestones together, so no matter what bracket you are in now those milestones and rewards still exist in the peak milestone system, except they award higher rewards. Plus, if you are in a gold 1 AW bracket alliance I cannot imagine you aren't in the expert bracket for AQ, and thus I have no idea what getting rid of the lower brackets would mean to you either way.

Outside of the top ten, maybe top twenty alliances, the reward increases in the expert tier are fairly proportional, and don't significantly widen the performance gap. Those T2A fragments in the top ten are potentially performance widening, but if you thought you had any sort of shot at those alliance spots and peak milestones cost you that chance, I think your self-assessment skills need sharpening.

If you buy every deal and are a gold 1 player...does that make you a beached whale?

You should probably quit the game, since what you just said makes no sense at all.

I do think that what they did with peak milestones is good, but it’s always going to be really hard when you need to cater to such a wide variety of players.

The old system meant that once you surpassed the top milestone, you didn’t get any more rewards besides that of AQ, and this one is basically entirely dependent on what you as an alliance can do, and not on how good every other alliance is.

Also, the disparity in receiving rewards exists but if I was in a master alliance and I was getting the same rewards as a gold 1 alliance, I’d get kinda miffed.

Again, it’s not ranked anymore, so what other alliances do and how they score doesn’t impact your rewards for AQ and peak milestones (ranked is different ofc).

No I'm in a semi retired alliance and we run map 3 most often for aq, so every other week we drop from expert.... then rank back up following week.... in the brackets placing top ten in advanced bracket gave more rewards then low end of expert. So no they are not "greater" rewards throughout. The top alliances rewards sky rocketed while as you drop in the new ranks, the amount they increase from old rewards actually goes down and is in fact less rewards for some. The cusp alliances st each bracket will get fewer rewards aq then other alliances will catch up, then the will be cusp for awhile and it will just keep flipping while the top alliances just out distance the rest, now not a big deal if their rewards just help them in aq but they dont, they will help them keep outpacing in aw while they pilot and coordinate war start times to not fight eachother, and those rewards will let them outpace everyone even more, which will allow them to walk through act 6 when it comes out and jump ahead that way. With the old bracket system the rewards were closer so one could supplement with the right deals. But that is now impossible.
