Can't 100% LOL bc no SL (whine post)

So I just spun all my 5* shards in hopes of getting SL to 100% LOL before those great 5* champs get added soon......... Well I didn't get him............. Now I have an even slimmer chance of getting him since all those trash 5* are coming in July to the basic pool. I've played this game religiously for 2 years, i'm in a 13m top alliance, and i'm at the point of quitting. It's impossible to keep up w alliance mates who have 5-7 5* r4s while I'm stuck at 2 not being able to rank my third r4 bc i need to save t2 alphas incase I get SL. Also, i can't roll a featured 5* bc I need to keep spinning basic 5* crystals in hopes of SL. I'm stuck in the "no SL no LOL limbo" like I know a lot of ppl are. Thanks for making a quest w rewards that are required to succeed at a high level only to ppl who have SL or GP. Plz don't say it can be 100% completed (not easy path!) w other champs other than SL, GP maybe (which I don't have), but I'm not spending thousands of dollars to do it.
Doesn't make sense to me to make a quest that requires one or two champs in order to do it. I'm literally willing to spend to finish LOL right now, but you won't give me the champs to do It. I know I'm not alone in this either. Lots of my alliance mates are losing interest while others who have Sl are completing LOL. You will be losing a lot more ppl very soon who are in "no SL no LOL limbo" and these aren't part time players... these are top players who keep this game running who are quitting by the day bc of no champs to do LOL. Seems like a bad business plan to me.

Just try it with a 4* SL. It'll cost you more of course, but it would allow you to not feel stuck.

I'm in the same boat. It's quite annoying. I'm starting to formulate ideas for completing LoL without SL but no good options yet. I would love to be able to just save all my 5* shards until the fall when all the great champs get added but like you I'm forced to keep opening as many as possible to try and dupe my SL.

I think if you're in a 13M ally, you're already succeeding at a high level. You just want the extra toys from 100% (I do too), you don't really NEED them. LoL is meant to be the biggest challenge in the game, not to be completed by all players who throw some money at it. I'm not saying you're not skilled, but 100% can be done with other champs at a higher cost. People have done it with 4* SL and others.

You want the best champ to do the job so you can do it the cheapest. Kabam wants you to spend more than the minimum. It's just bad luck, thousands of us have it. No sense in making a "whine post" about it.

Because you've offered up to others that you're not willing to discuss the topic or accept suggestions on strategy, there's little left that others can do with your thread other than to make non-constructive comments.

I'm sorry that you feel unable to complete all that you'd like to with your current roster. There may be other options, or perhaps it's just a matter of continuing to play until your roster is stronger to complete LOL. Afterall, that's not a portion of the game meant to be easy to complete.

I'm going to close this thread down, as not much good can come from threads like this with no opening for discussion.

If you'd like to ask others for their suggestions on strategy, please post in the appropriate section of the forums for that. If you'd simply like to share your feedback constructively along with suggestions, the Suggestions and Feedback section of the forums would be appropriate.

I feel you, I decided to take a 4* SL and just save enough units to get initial path done. Short 1 t2a for another R4 5* and hope I get a tech awakening gem so I can awaken my SL but if now it will be awhile before I 100% it. Sitting at War Machine right now and is a pain with a 4* SL.
