Issue with baiting specials

Ever since the update it is increasingly difficult, if not impossible (especially in arena), to bait the special attacks in quests and arenas. I played 8 arena series in a row and was unable to bait any special attacks. It’s affecting all my champs. Anyone else having this issue or is it another systemic issue with this update?
I’m using iPhone 6s Plus iOS 11.4

    BRO, I feel you, but sadly it will go unnoticed. Arena is now feels like ALL or Nothing.

    I don't have any issues baiting specials.
    The only times it's more difficult than normal is in arena vs thanos team, but that had been the case for a while already. But i can still get them to throw their sp1 or sp2 eventually. Just gotta be more patient than usual.

    Most of the time yeah but other times not so much, sometimes they just refuse to use them at all and seem more intent on holding them and using it on us

    I can be paitent really paitent and be really passive and they still sometimes have no interest in using them even after a lot of time passes which means you're going to eat a third if you don't have a power control one.

    It's just another issue in s really long line of them.
