Yeah man they need to re-update this game. There are so many issues going on plus my phone is going to explode!

Found fix. Go into your apps in settings and force stop game... then restart

Hey guys, the same issue has also been reported in THIS discussion. I've responded there by providing some troubleshooting steps to try and resolve this, and asked for more information if these don’t help.
