He’s a ton of fun to play with. He doesn’t need to be duped, but the power steal is nice.
He’s a really handy champ. The stagger/fate seal abilities are great for champs that proc lots of buffs. Invisibility is about more than just making the other guy miss; you also ignore 75% of armor rating & block proficiency, which lets his crits stick hard. His sp1 adds a shock debuff that turns into a stun once it expires. His sp2 not only fate seals, but it tacks on a 65% AAR. His sp3 stacks damage in line with your opponent’s power meter, so it does really heavy damage at 3 bars. It’s a nice way to end some fights when the AI won’t get baited into an sp2. Sp3 also adds a decent bleed. Heavy attacks refresh most of his debuffs, too.
His Sig ability allows you to steal a percentage of the opponent’s power when invisibility is in cooldown, and makes the Hood stun immune. Nice perks, but not necessary.
He’s a fun, versatile champ. Lots of debuff options, and you can control your opponent’s buffs. Any sort of projectile-based specials won’t do chip damage. I like using him against Hyperion. Stagger away that power gain & he’s an easy fight. He also has a couple of decent synergies, too. Have fun with your shiny new toy!
He's my top champ, and I absolutely love him. Stagger is one of the most useful abilities in the game in my opinion. Perfect counter to Hyperion and Medusa, and especially when you have high levels on Mystic Dispersion he fills his power meter so quickly while staggering. Invisibility will save me a lot and he becomes stun immune while in cooldown. I personally think he's just as good as ghost rider with all his utility, with GR having the slight edge with bleed immunity. A lot might not think so, but that's my honest opinion. Learn all his abilites well and you'll enjoy him.
I really like him, but I also hate how his medium pushes the enemy just slightly farther back. I've never been able to go from a regular 5 combo into an immediate block for the parry like I can with other champs (unless I have the enemy against the wall)
he has a whole slew of mediocre abilities that make him a very good champs. from his tiny bit of regen to his invisibility he's a little swiss army knife.
back in the day, during a celebrity challenge with life transfer, I took a 4/40 Hood to clear out Lady Thor, Angela, and Dr. Strange. He did wonders back then but i've never needed to take him higher.
