True strike

In the description for true strike it say it ignores armor up resistance evasion and auto block. So I was just fighting bpcw in arena with Karnak I used sp1 and he was still triggering the armor ups. Is this how it is intended to work and each strike ignores the armor applied? Because I always thought it was supposed to stop the armor up from triggering the way it does for evade? It’s not a super big deal but want clarification on how the mechanic is intended to work

True strike doesn't prevent armor up from triggering. Instead, the opponent will see no defensive benefit to the armor up. In other words, Hulkbuster could have 10 stacks of armor, but a true strike champ will damage him as if no armor is present.

True strike causes all evade and auto block effects to fail. If you read the description carefully it says that it *ignores* armor, resistances and evasion. So to answer your question, BPCW will still trigger buffs, but they only serve his reflect stun, they don't provide any damage decrease to him since you are *ignoring* that armor. Hope that helps.

It ignores the reduction in damage. But the armour still triggers.

When you hit someone with armour, it will apply a reduction to the damage making, for example, a hit that does 500 damage only do 400. If you have true strike it ignores the reduction, so even if they have armour active you will do the 500 damage regardless.

No. If your hits are critical, of course spiked armor is going to trigger.
