Gamora is metal??

So I know over time many champs have been magnetized by magneto but have been changed, ex: drax. But why is Gamora metal??? Does she have a metal suit??? It has no effect on her it’s nothing but design. And if it’s her sword then that should be changed just as drax was. I think Thor also used to be magnetized but I’m not 100% sure. I get SS’s metal suit is also design but it’s clear in the movies his suit has technological advances (as it does in the game, ex: stark AI ) can anyone explain why gamora is still metal?

@Snizzbar to be honest I don’t know I don’t read the comics but in inifinty war she had her own race that thanos killed I’m pretty sure nebula is one of a kind

pretty sure blade isnt but Gwenpool is. apparently pne sword and a bunch of throwing stars is less than 2 swords and a random grenade launcher

@Rafikii blade would just negate magneto with gr synergy and his swords only do bleed with special I think his swords are mainly for design

This topic comes up every so often and each time I explain my iffy guide to whether champs are metal or not. It’s not a hard and fast rule, but in most cases works.

What I think it is, is that if the bulk/majority of a champions powers or abilities stem from metal, then they are magnetised. If they use metal, but have other gifts, they aren’t.

For example, Gwenpool is just a regular girl with swords and guns. Blade however, is a daywalker vampire. His powers come from being a vampire, he just uses swords and guns.

Winter soldier has his metal arm and guns. Cap has a metal shield but his powers are from the serum.

Spark, although having his spider sense and powers, relies on his stark suit more since he is becoming Spider-Man. The suit is metal, so he is magnetised.

Collosus relies on transforming into metal, an easy one, he’s magnetised. Gamora has cybernetic enhancements and her sword so she is too.

Agent venom uses guns and I’d assume there is metal on his suit, but because he’s paired with the symbiote, which is where his powers come from, he isn’t magnetised.

Ant man is metal, since he relies on his suit to transform him to the small size, his suit has metal.

Drax isn’t metal, since he only uses a couple of knives, his species is just naturally strong so that’s where his strengths and power comes from. Not magnetised.

Gladiator hulk, although wearing a hell of a lot of armour and using a metal axe and hammer is not magnetised because they aren’t his powers. His power is being hulk.

Like I said, not a hard and fast rule but it generally works.

@Colleen on a mobile device you have to change to to "full site" and then go to your profile. When you get to your profile you can then click on "preferences" by your name and change the avatar.

@EnderDraco58 drax has swords??? Blade has swords and guns??? Starlord has a gun and metal boots and helmet, electra has metal stars and swords??? I don’t see your point....gamora being #metal is just a disadvantage and she really has no abilities by being metal gives her unlike ss or ultron

Star lord is one that doesn’t exactly fit the rule. But Gamora’s power comes from her cybernetic implants which are metal.
