Question on unique synergy

So in a team, If I have a 3* duped thor (ragnarok) and 5* unduped thor rag, by leveraging on 5* thor rag synergy putting in hela gulk loki, can the 3* thor rag beneficial from the synergy?
If the answer is no, is there any indicative description I can lookup for?
If this is a yes, this maybe even useful in some scenario in future.
