It's just an annoyance that you need to remember what items are timing out. Being able to sell from surplus would mean not having to go repeatedly back and forth.
It would also mean that noobs would know that they can sell surplus catalysts. I lost a lot before I realised. I thought that the lack of a link to sell the surplus, but rather to upgrading champs, meant that it couldn't be done.
