Crystal shards

Does anyone know how to get a lot of 4 and 5-star shards? I already have a lot of 4 stars and 1 5 stars (Iron Patriot Bleh) but if i could get some more info on how to get them that would be great

    Be in am alliance and keep am eye on alliance events with peak rewards. Some of them give a good amount of 4 & 5 shards.

    Also, alliance wars.
