Need clarification

I have two issues I need to understand why the game functions the way it does.

1. Why is iceman not immune to frost bite and cold snap?
2. Why can Infinity War Ironman generate his molecular armor buffs at the end of the fight when armor shatter is active on him with Medusa?

1- Iceman has no immunity ability to those effects. He is basically just immune to his own ice, not other iceman's abilities. Reason why could be for balance purposes, or other stuff like this game's logic.

2- His armor's are passive. Armor shattered has no effect against passive armor's, only armor buffs.

His armor ups are passive but it says he loses them with armor breaks. So if armor breaks can remove them them armor shatter should prevent them.

I understand iceman does hold those immunities I’m questioning why. If he can inflict them why would be not be immune to them? That seems silly.

Armor shattered only prevent armor up buffs. That's what the description says. In theory, amor break debuffs don't "break" armor up passives, but since IW IM has that ability it works that way.
This has been discussed in the past already, there are 2/3 threads about it full of answers if you need.

For iceman, is better just to disregard how his model looks like. Even a human made of ice can get cold in a fictional universe
