AW Defender Kills - Change needed

We just lost a war because they had one more attack bonus than we did however we had 20 more defender kills. This shouldn't be the case. We knocked out 20 more of their attackers and still lose. Come on, this needs addressed/fixed. 75diegeq5ekt.jpg

    Yep, exactly what he said. The old system of defender kills let wars be won by an alliance having just 1 good defender that got a lot of kills. A single defender can still get points, but they can't score infinite points.

    So, no. Change is not needed nor wanted.

    You cant have defender diversity and defender kills not matter. So you are basically saying take a bunch of crappy champs that wont beat anyone anyway and put them in war because it doesn't matter if they get kills anyway.

    And we obviously had a better defense because we got more kills but still lost. So, Zee-Reborn your logic doesn't work.

    Defender kills should not matter. A majority of them are because many people do 350 revives several times to chip away and eventually beat the champ. This game has always been offensive based. You get points for killing the other team. The system is fine. When you get to higher tiers it’s mostly all map clears and 1 shots. Then the strategy becomes diversity.

    im in higher tier and i got clear my paths with no deaths and oneshot my miniboss if i wanna give my alliance a chance to win. you got it nice bro. when we lose its mostly because of diversity

    The only use Defender Kills have is to show who is an effective placement. It's probably best not to focus on who had more. The current setup allows for skill while still not penalizing people for using Items, and adding the scoring metric again would lead to a much worse scenario in the current setup. Besides, with the Defenders coming out lately, would anyone want to tack on Kills? Lol.

    There is no skill in wining because you can buy more potions and revives then the opponent. what a joke

    So how is it any different now? People were buying in the old system. Only they were paying twice. With Items, and with Points.

    Same number of Items. That hasn't changed. The majority of Kills are from the Boss, usually. After 3, there is no more Bonus.

    In the SS the OP shared, the Opponent DID play more skillfully. They had one more Bonus.

    Guys cribbing for defense kills to matter will be the same ones crying when they won't be able to kill new champs on a certain nodes that makes them overpowered.

    Right now even if you're stuck at a champ, you have 3 tries to perfect it and help your team, after that you still get to help your team by clearing the node, but you dying 10 times on that node will not pull your team back.
