So what should an alliance do about piloting if someone pilots without anyone’s knowledge, costing the entire group who has no knowledge when Kabam refuses to share who it is?!? Does that seem beyond stupid to anyone else?

Piloting accounts get temporary or permanent bans. Read the forums.

The forums aren't really the place to discuss actions taken on game accounts, including any action that may have been taken on them. Also, because of our privacy policy, we cannot discuss the details of any player's account with anyone else. These details would include any investigations that may have taken place into the account and any actions that may have been taken against them.
