The need for “alternate” champions

The battlerealm is a “multiverse” but we mostly get Earth 616 and 199999 (main continuity and MCU) with a few MCOC originals
But again we ARE in a multiversal arena! We can pull from across time, space, and reality!
I want Red Goblin, Ultimate Goblin, Anti-Venom and Agent-Anti-Venom. Fill out some more iron man suits like Stealth mode. Unworthy Thor people? What about the “depowered” Strange reliant on artifacts as a champ? Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider would be sick, and we could heal up with ANGEL CLASSIC (or the modern angel with fire wings)!
Play up the multiverse and pull from different time periods and equipment/powers of certain characters.
Not only does this help keep more people interested with more mainline champs but is also helps spread out abilities to be more specialized and focused. Stealth suit Iron man will still have Armor break repulsers (or maybe more discrete armaments?), but focus on evasion and maybe even invisibility while hulkbuster gets the massive armor stat.
Thor unworthy gets to display all his Asgardian biology with an unbreakable ax that cuts his foes, while Classic gets the power of mjlinor and Ragnorok gets his gladiatorial skills and LIGHTNING!!!
We have a small army of asgadrians and symbiotes to pull from and dispute all being 616 they include at least 1 tech class Symbiote and 1 each skill and mystic class Asgardian. Instead of just pumping “ALL the abilities into a single version of a champion see what can be done to optimize a few abilities and playstyles and then what you didn’t use can be put into other similar champions be it “related” in some way or a multiverse counterpart

But breaking out with Stealth Iron Man, Unworthy Thor, Valkyrie, Enchantress, Marvel Now Strange, Ultimate Goblin, and what could literally be slightly altered Carnage and Symbiote reskins with different focuses for abilities would be a good idea to mix well known champs with new additions and abilities.
They kinda did the alternate idea with Carol Danvers but they’re carbon copies. And the Cyclops aren’t far off.
Mystic would especially benefit
Ghost Rider Robbie Rheyes
Ghost Rider Caleb
Steel Serpant/Phoenix (iron fist kinda)
Especially mystic as there’s not a TON of easily accessible characters to pull from. Captain Britain? Morgan La Fae? Enchantress (ok maybe her). Otherwise we go off the deep end with blackheart and Wiccan!
I don't know why you think anyone thinks you're saying that.
I still don't see why you think that. The way I read @EnderDraco58 's comment is that he's making the reasonable assumption that to add the kinds of characters you want on any reasonable timeframe would involve adding them to the established schedule of two new champs (mostly) per month, because Kabam isn't going to suddenly stop adding high visibility champions to the game and become an Elseworlds playground. And there's a strong case to be made that consistently adding more than two champions per game wouldn't make the game any better, and could make its pacing significantly worse. I do not read his comment as implying he thinks you want a dozen champs a month, I read it as him saying any number more than two on a consistent basis can potentially upset the apple cart.
And I would tend to agree. I don't know if two is the magic number, but I do know that more and faster isn't always better when you're looking at the long term health of the game. Below a certain pace players can get bored, but above a certain pace and players can start to get numb to additions, whereupon the novelty benefit of adding new champions can become lost. Games have imploded flooding too many changes too quickly for players to stop and enjoy them or differentiate them.
And as I point out, if Kabam thought the harm of adding more than two was worth it, and they had the resources to add more, they probably already would be, and they still wouldn't necessarily be the kinds of champions you're suggesting. It would still be the case that higher profile and more well-known characters would win that development slot more often.
