As an officer you should have the option to step down

Getting demoted is pretty embarrassing especially if you asked to step down. So I believe there should be an option to step down. This really isn’t a big deal but it would add more detail to the game.

    I'm struggling to imagine how it could be embarrassing to be demoted when you ask to be demoted. Any good alliance would tell its members when an officer is demoted that it was because they wanted to step down and for no other nefarious reason, and since officers have more work and responsibilities but get no in-game advantages or rewards above and beyond anyone else that should be a reasonable request for the other members of the alliance to understand.
