Starting new alliance, are donations locked?

I can't find any posts, sorry for bothering.
When starting new alliance, are donations also locked? If they are locked, we can't start AQ maps that require donations. Can you do something about that. Thanks

    New people that join the alliance can't donate for the first week they get in. They ll be able to donate normally after that time.

    Tnx, but that was not my question.
    With starting new ally , and aq starting in, lets say 2 days, you cant run map 6 for example.
    Can leader or officers donate at least?

    I would assume that ANY new ppl to an alliance (and unfortunately that would include Creators/Leaders) would have to wait until donating as well.
    You’ll probably have to start out with Map-4 (**see end of post for potential rebuttal)

    I can see reasons both for and against Kabam maybe allowing exceptions for brand new alliances. Against (and so keeping as is) would be that groups could just do a new alliance and have a whole big Treasury Dump from 2nd accts right off the bat, which except for the timing is basically what Kabam doesn’t want to happen.

    FYI, not sure if it has changed or not (been a long long time ago), but do brand new alliances have to first Win on Map-1 before being able to start a Map-2, and so on, and so on... So it will take you 4 days of AQ before even getting to Map-5 (which needs Treasury). At least that's how AQ started out way back when they first made AQ. ????
