Forum Changes for “Quoted” Replies (Multiple Quote Levels)

Today the Forum Style was changed for QUOTED REPLIES. Quotes more than 1 Level back are no longer hidden by default. And each successive indent level no longer has the actual Reply person's Name immediately above their indented section (all the previous names are bunched up at top, hard to follow who's reply is who's).

The overall appearance in cases with so many Quoted levels make it harder to follow (and has too much repeated text on each page as a result).

Do you like the new style, or the old style ? And do you think maybe limiting the levels of previous Quotes with each new reply to just the previous 2 levels would make the new style better ?

(example of an “excessive indent” New-style to follow ...)

Switch back to OLD Style, as it was, with 2+ levels “hidden” by default.

NEW Style indents, but either “hide” 2+ levels, or don’t even include more than 2+ levels.

Stop ####ing with the html. It was fine. It was also fine when it in BBCode.

Mind your business and stay in your lane.....
  • Was this change in the Forums due to some changes by whoever Kabam is using to host the Forums ? Or did Kabam actively solicit these changes to indented/quotes replies ??

There's no point in having an entire thread history embedded within each reply in quoted indented sections (other than the immediate, and maybe next back, replies for context). You’ve got the entirety of the Thread itself to refer back to if needed for anything prior to what exactly you are replying to.

I liked it how it was. Easier to navigate and such.
