Easy Fix for Limbo Majik

So seems like Limbo is due for a nerf. I use her a little but she bores me. Her Limbo at high ranks has become just a pain and specially in AQ on some of those power gain nodes.

I suggest that instead of stripping her completely they make Limbo a 50% chance to either do the energy damage or save her from taking damage. Or Limbo works both ways in that whatever damage she does in energy during limbo is subtracted from the health she might regain.

For me the damage is bearable its more the health restore and taking damage at the same time.

It can't be stopped but it can be prevented. You have to parry during processing. It's unlike ultron's regen where you can stop his regen while it's active by alerting as well as during processing

Don't know about it the "stun before processing ends to stop it part" but the reason why it can't be stopped when it's activated is because it's bugged (his regen stopes like Ultron even when you stun him after he triggers regen)

Yeah, she is easy to fight, but taking the limbo damage and just dealing with it isn't easy.

If you play AW tier 1...you will find out that it is uncontrollable, yes you can take in regen champs, or you can take a magik into attack and just sp2 her and basically stop the limbo.

But I also see her on the node where your power gets drained, if lucky you can hit a sp2 before it gets auto drained, but then getting it again is hard.

I am not calling for a nerf, I have her too and she is great. But it isn't easy dealing with her like you say. The fighting part is easy, she is predictable and specials are easily evaded, but when she gets limbo popping it downhill quick time haha

I don't understand how this is conceptually hard. If you have to change up your attack team or your masteries just to deal with 1 champion, something is broken. Saying "you can deal with her by using X champ" is BS in a game where you have next to zero control over what champs you have. If you're having to change your masteries because of 1 champion, again something is off. What other champ really requires a mastery change? Limbo scaling it's damage on AW nodes is the same problem as the health regen on nodes that was removed. Kabam needs to just fix it already

It would be BS if X champ = only 1 champ. But X champ equals a number of champs. Power control or defensive ability accuracy reduction. Note, this doesn't equal being able to solo a 5 star boss majik with 1 character, but it does equal taking a significant amount of damage off that boss. There are a number of characters one can use (Elektra, black widow, archangel, magik, psylocke, etc.)

It seems like every time someone calls for a nerf to a character, it's because fighting that character is more involved than your standard parry, combo, parry, combo, bait, combo...etc.

I'm not a great player, but what I do when trying to get used to fighting one of these characters that's more involved than your standard parry, combo back...take a 2 or 3 star character and pick someone from the top of the leaderboard with a highly ranked characters you're having problems with. Duel them over and over on your days you don't have an alliance duel and get used to fighting that character in a version that's much more powerful than the one you're bringing in. It may not make you be able to one shot that character when facing them in war...but you should be used to them enough to be able to take out a good chunk of damage.

Limbo isn't even a problem anymore, so many champions counter it in some way and pacify makes it very manageable. The real problem a lot of people have is MD feeding her limbo which can become a problem but even then when you play very well Magik with MD isn't that much of a challenge

Your assumption is I can't deal with her. I'm saying I shouldn't have to specifically worry about it. It's just not fun and this is a game. We'll see how heavily the new "unique defenders" is scored in AW and how much of a difference it makes.

Again, it would be broken if it were only 1, or a couple. But there are a decent number of champions you could bring. Or does a person not want to bring in 1 out of 3 characters at the very least with some form of defensive ability accuracy reduction or power control in war?

What about abomination if you don't bring in a poison immune champ you're going to get wrecked so does that mean he is broken, people bring in champs specifically to counter evade champs so are they all broken. Yes magik is difficult but she is in no way broken, gwenpool, crossbones, elektra, black widow, OG vision, quake, rogue, archangel, psylocke, yondu, green goblin, hulk, dr voodoo, aou vision, magik, dormammu, guillotine and mordo all have counter abilities that make magiks in some way or another much more manageable. AW will always have the same defenders the point of AW is to have the best defenders and attackers and the best defenders are a small group of champions. Mods have said the unique defenders points won't be very substantial so I doubt it will change anything

Again more people wanting champs nerfed so they will be easier, sorry but no there has got to be some challenge in this game or what's the point! All champs can be taken down some take more effort and some can take multiple efforts but that's how it should be.

You don't need one champ just for her there are many which are great for her and other champs you typically hit, so pick your team well.

Dying from limbo, besides you can get it to miss you, isn't dying without being hit after all you're being hit with the soul word and that is a powerful weapon.

Yes MD makes her harder but that's been the case for a long time and as it should be, yet in the last few moths people keep looking for life to be easier. No I don't have my magik at r4 before you ask but she is useful in both attack and defense.

If you find any of the champs mentioned too hard either change paths or find a different alliance until you're ready for the content.

Of course you should have to worry about it, this is a game which does allow for some strategy and tactics so pick your 3 champs well as is relatively easy to know what type of champs you need for each path.
