Champions for gold?

Why doesn't Kabam have champions for gold (or anything beyond leveling and ranking people up?)? It would be really nice if we could buy even just crystals (like a 5*star crystal for a million gold)

Gold is honestly quite easy to get, it's just that it pours straight into rank-ups most of the time which is why everyone's always running low. If champs were available for gold, I'd happily put off rank-ups for them and progression would become way too easy.

I don't know, like gold or units. and maybe you might need an amount of champions before you can buy your next one, or a purchase limit which resets only when you go up a level

Well some times during last year we could buy shards for units

ya, I guess like that. I also wish we could buy 3 or 4 star hero crystals with units (no matter how much) even if they were like 500 or a 1000 units
