**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.

There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.
Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

But BG is only exceptional in the same way that the top spenders of the game are exceptional. Holding up the gifting event rewards as an example of how "you do not need to play content anymore just buy deals" is just as ridiculous as suggesting Brian Grant is the typical example of a free to play player. He's not a typical free to play player. But he is the correct edge case to compare to the equally edge case spenders generally held up as a way to suggest the game's resource balance is broken.
Also, only one player or alliance can get the top rewards in an event, regardless of how much time and money is spent. But anyone willing to spend a similar amount of time can achieve a similar amount of progress as Brian. The game doesn't have a hard cap on Brian Grants.
My alliance is not competitive so it's fine for me.
I know he is amazing, but i think he spends too much time on grind i think.
These are the blue whales you’re talking about.
My roster ain't exactly the worst around. Not saying it's elite, but it ain't bad, and that number wasn't small
Also pretty sure this is a pre cursor for rewards from Act 6 completion being you can finally rank 3 a 6* as was the case with Act 4 completion ( allowing you r4 5*) and Act 5 Completion (allowing you to r5 a 5* champ).
also You can earn the non ranked rewards with in game resources without spending a single penny. You can farm units freely in the game. It just requires forward planning. You aren't forced to use money to partake in the event. Also you are aware you can gift revives, potions and energy refills as well for the difficult content you saving your units for. Also gifting mastery resources to unlock the good mastery options.
Now
If everyone in your alliance saved 300 units for this event and you all gifted each other 1 GGC you will get an extra GGC from the solo milestone rewards plus the alliance will hit the milestone for 275 units. so effectively you get 2 GGC for 5 units ( you get 20 units from solo milestone rewards)
If everyone saved for 2 GGC (600 units) then you would get 5 GGC for 305 units as you would get 2 extra GGC from solo milestone rewards plus one extra from alliance milestone ( need to get an extra 2000 points as an alliance to hit this milestone)
you can also get 7 GGC for 605 units with the milestone rewards as well, however this isn't as good as just gifting 2 crystals.
So there is plenty of ways f2p players can enjoy this event without having to spend loads of units. Heck as stated above for 5 units you will get 4 GGC plus extra 3 from calender. Thats 7 chances you get at pulling an Awakening gem, Getting crazy amounts of 5* and 6* shards.
So to say its not accesible for free to play players is ridiculous.
