**Mastery Loadouts**

1st R5 advice

I'm about to do my 1st 5/65, but before I go ahead, I thought I'd show my options, just incase I'm overlooking anything.
I've decided on Symbiote Supreme, he's dupped to lvl 60 and I have another 40 sigs IF needed.
The reason I'm here is that I have Mystic, Science and Skill 5* awakening gems as well as 100+ skill and Science sig stones and the cats to take a Skill or Science champ to 5/65.
It's taken me a loooong time to build up the 2X t5 basics, as I haven't been in an alliance for about 2 years, so do I go ahead with Sym or wait to get a god tier Skill/Science champ or maybe one of the other R3/5s I already have?



It's a free account, I play for fun when I have time. Not done any varient quests or LOL, I do monthly quests most of the time (Sym made Silver Surfer really easy!) and I do arena every now and then.
As a side note, I only pulled Black Widow 4 weeks ago and I've been playing for 5 years, so my hope of pulling one of the above champs isn't high, I must have annoyed the gods of the crystals some how 😂

    I personally don't like Sym Supreme, so I'd rankup Sentinel, but given the fact you don't have the catalysts, it's up to you. Imo SS is too specific (heavy reliant on buffs and your luck with staggers), but if you live playing him, rank him up

    Personally I think ss is a bad first r5, too specialised, go for a more versatile champ like sentinel, you can also do v3 with him and get another r5

    Yeah, I understand that. Thanks, I'll try playing more with Sentunal and a few other more rounded champs.

    Same thing that made me rank Spidy, it was real soon after R4s were possible, MD was at its un nerfed madness and AW was in its infancy. Jugg, with maxed MD was a pain and Spidy as a boss was ruining people.

    Don't r5 SS as your first one. SS can do what he needs to at r4 for now.

    I would r5 Sentinel
    He is amazing for Variant 3, Really good for variant 2 as well and also good for variant 1.

    He is a bleed and poison immune, high armor and crit resistance, has heal block , armor break, can apply shock and incinerate and has access to a heal too.

    He is also a great option for 6.1 Crossbones (Assuming you are not Caviler yet).

    I would also start focusing on the variants, in particular variant 3 and variant 2. You have the champs to get initial clear on them and they are fairly easy. The rewards will allow you to rank up more champs to r4, as you get a r3-4 gem from all variants initial completion. When you fully complete the variants you get a r4-5 gem. If you get mystic then take SS to r5

    100% do not r5 Sym as your first.

    Sent is the best choice. He'll get you through Variant 2 and 3, giving you 2 more r5s.

    I say do sentinel or colossus wit the new update Colossus can take damage hes, bleed, poison and cold snap immune and he can do a lot of damage. I might be alone on this but I like Dr.Voodoo hes a good option also

    Colossus is a great champ to focus on (but he is NOT poison immune; it's bleed, incinerate, frostbite and coldsnap). I use my R4 5* Colossus A LOT since his update, and will consider taking him to R5 if I ever get a mutant 4 to 5 gem. That said, I agree that Sentinel will be your best bet for getting more rank up resources right away, which you can then use on other great champs you have like Hyperion, Venom the Duck, Colossus, Dr. Voodoo, Archangel (you really do have a great roster!).

    Thanks for all the advice everyone.
    As advised, I did a 1st run through Polar Opposites Varient with Sentinel and decided I'd focus on trying to 100% that as Sentinel did make it a whole lot easier than I expected!
    So I've held off on R5'ing anyone and joined an alliance to make forming more t5basics quicker 🙂
