I'm not the biggest comic guy out here, but after reading some of these comments it would be great if Squirrel Girl is the most OP champ in the game I think it will be really fun to see what Kabam does with her... officially more hyped for SQUIRREL GIRL! 😂

I get the meme potential about squirrel girl but who can actually be more excited for squirrel girl as a playable character over Nova?

Ofc as I say this she'll probably be the strongest champ in the game and conveniently have 10901 prestige.
If they are gonna adapt her motto of being *unbeatable* i wouldn't be surprised if they gave her something like the champion's champion of the universe ability but even better, like she would get an advantage over all the current beyond god tier champions like domino, ghost, thing etc

I was thinking more along the lines of she has class advantage over the universal class.

You're talking about somebody who is canonically unbeatable. She's defeated Thanos, Doom, MODOK and Fing Fan Foom amongst many others. Someone that talks to Squirrels being OP is Marvel's Logic.

This is true but Squirrel Girl is a specific case - her adventures are very self-contained and really are a bit of a caricature. She is purposely made to be illogically overpowered in the comics as a kind of *nudge nudge wink wink* to how some superheroes are just too OP to be real:

I'm personally hoping we are getting a moderate version - tired of having champs like Domino and Ghost wiping the floor with others like Thor and Hulk.

She's comic relief and I hope she's as fun to use as Warlock, but really also hope she isn't some meta-changing character simultaneously.

The devs aren't seriously going to make a champion that automatically beats everyone. We (or at least some of us) are just having some fun here.

Curious who will be first in the arena? Nova or Squirrelgirl? I'm hoping one will be available via Marvel Insider as it is nice to be able to get one of the new champions...even as a 3* to take them out and see what they are like.

Yeah, ok. That tells us all we need to know. Truly powerful beings get watered down and not so powerful characters are op. Show me anywhere in her powers listed by marvel where she is op. Writers can make anything look as good as they want it too. Kabam should know this, they are masters of it. Where is the "this is a different universe and doesn't follow the comic or movie universe " now? Or is it "we only follow the comics or movies on characters we want to"? Sounds like a double standard or a copout to me.
You know, at least the Ghost Rider incinerate complaints are based on something, even if that something kind of falls apart upon any sort of inspection. This, this is just completely bananas. You're saying that Squirrel Girl shouldn't be as strong as the comic book writers have made her out to be, she should be as strong as she should be in the comics if they wrote her correctly.

I don’t know about uncollected rewards but doubt it.
About 2~3 weeks ago, Kabam Miike said there were no plans for a “cavalier difficulty” in the near future

I think that just as writers and screenwriters make their characters very -OP- or normal, it's fine. but a balance, a good story and a character not so ridiculously out of context are very necessary. As with Gwenpool, he is a ridiculous character but quite balanced in terms of his abilities. but seeing things as they come, lately they exaggerate the impossible and they are making a lot of mistakes regarding the characteristics of the new characters, and claiming the acclaimed balance they want to perpetuate leaving the old characters obsolete, I find it quite silly.
