Why 5* Champion crystal unit deal right after Gifting Event?

I'm not one to usually gripe about Kabam, but come on. I just blew all my units into the Gifting Event, and now a 5000 unit deal for a 5* 2019 Champion comes right after? Which is actually pretty decent considering 2019 had some awesome champs. Bad timing I must say.

Gotta give people a little time to build back their funds or units before bringing out a deal like this in the future I would suggest. Happy holidays anyway and all the best for the New Year to everyone here and Kabam.

    I guarantee you it isn't. If you have a sig 200 of one of those, it'll be that instead.

    If I remember correctly they have a deal for sale every year after the gifting event ends.

    15 champions out of 25 I'm flat out missing, another 4 that I'd like to see awakened, but no, I pull one of my sig 200s. Not even one in a useful class for the ISO.

    The deal should have been maybe 1500, one black Panthers treasure at the most, but 5000 is ridiculous

    so Many good champs, but you know it will roll into Diablo or Ebony Maw. It’s too expensive for that.

    Yeah like 200 bucks for a five star is too much, even if you get lucky and roll a G2099 or Doom or Namor.

    Not true, it also has a 20% chance at maw so they can get a few items used in awd

    Hey, I'd consider paying 5000 units for a 6* 2019 champion. Would DEFINITELY pay 5000 units for a 5* Scarlett Witch.
    Yes, at some point a moderator will post the standard "we realize this offer may not be for everyone" but this offer is far beyond out of touch with what most players would pay.
    Sorry if my comment isn't constructive and all that jazz. And from all of my recent pulls, I'm fairly certain that I am and have been on the naughty list for a while now.

    Here is what I find the most interesting aspect of this deal. Of the 12 champs available, SIX of them are being looked into, rebalanced, nerfed, or buffed by Kabam.

    Annihlus- Confirmed buff
    Torch- Confirmed buff
    Ebony Maw- Confirmed buff
    Cull- Confirmed rebalance
    Aarkus- Confirmed "looking into" armor shatters
    Namor- Chinese notes suggest "tweaking of some sort."

    Two other champs have already been "adjusted." Nick Fury and Warlock. So that's 8 of 12.

    Kabam has been... BUSY...in 2019. It is my hope that they figure out the challenges of balancing champions to everyone's satisfaction.
