    May be a New Year, but it doesn't mean there will be a New Kabam. 😂
    Jk but in all seriousness I'm pretty sure it's been a thing every year so far and has been popular/profitable everytime, so most likely.

    Remember the little Red Envelopes you could Gift to people which turned into Crystals, they'd have some random small items and you could get the Greater Variants from the Event and buying them from the store or in bundles I believe.
