What does this Suicide interaction update mean in the new version next month?

Just read the Changelog then (https://forums.playcontestofchampions.com/en/discussion/11/marvel-contest-of-champions-changelog#latest) and it states "Improved the Double Edge and Liquid Courage Mastery interactions with all Champions immune to either Bleed or Poison."

What does this mean? I don't see what interaction would be different than currently, when bleed/poison immune champs say immune at the start anyway? Any clarification would be greatly appreciated, just confused.

This is a change to the mechanics of how the Double Edge and Liquid Courage debuffs work. Originally the way they worked was that if you were immune to those debuffs then the debuffs wouldn't even try to do anything: they would sort of be invisible. But because some newer champions have abilities that say things like "if a debuff fails because you're immune, you get benefit X" the devs changed those two suicide debuffs so that now if you're immune the game actually tries, and then fails, to apply the debuff. This will count as a "failure to apply the debuff" for the purposes of those newer champions, whereas at the moment since nothing happens you don't get that benefit.

If you aren't playing one of those newer champions, you won't see anything different: those debuffs will either apply if you're not immune or fail to apply if you are immune. The only difference should be that if you're playing a champion that gets some kind of extra effect when a debuff fails to apply, suicides will now count as a failure if you're immune to them.
