This months side quest boss is not changing should I defeat him, then he will change?

    I didn't finish the quest once and when i went back in on the same day it was the same run. I think you need to finish it to get it to reset. Educated Guess.

    A Cornucopia Boss (and all nodes) will change from day to day, whether or not you have fully completed it.

    They will also change within the same “Daily Timer” day, but only so long as you have fully completed the quest thru the final boss the time before. (otherwise, during the same “Reset Timer” day, they will continue to be the same if you only get so far and have to quit the rest of the quest and restart the quest again using additional baskets, without actually beating the final boss that time).

    However, while they change, there may be some times that nodes happen to be re-generated as the same champ as a time before.
