It is uncommon but probably not as uncommon as people think. The odds of pulling the same champ twice in a row out of two crystals are about 50/50 after about 100 consecutive crystal openings.

I think the impressive thing here is you pulled a four star out of a phc

I pulled 4* and 5* Modok back to back at one point.

I also pulled and duped Angela out of two 4* crystals popped simultaneously, when I had never pulled her out of my previous ~80 4*s.
