A question about variant 3 regen rogue.

Hi everyone, there is a question that I would like to ask to summoners who have done this fight in variant 3. I'm stuck at this fight and would like to know that whether maximizing despair mastery would help me finishing her with my sentinel.

Why I'm asking you guys for advice is because i was trying to finish her with my sentinel but i wasn't able to out damage her regen.

So i saw seatin's video where he did get her with his 6/1 sentinel but i didn't know how much despair was helping him, as i don't have despair maxed out and I'm pretty average at this game.

I would like to ask you guys what did you do to clear this fight.

I don’t have a ranked up Sentinel but I used a 5* rank4 Starlord to clear regen Rogue.

Just an FYI, 5* Starlords L2 shock damage is bugged right now and doesn’t scale with his combo. His L3 shock works fine, but the L2 has been bugged for months.

Yeah star lord is someone i was hoping to get cause he can definitely out damage her regen but whatever I'll have to make the most of what I have.

Phew... I don't know how much despair really comes into play, since how long your debuffs will stick is pretty much up the the ai.

Generally I'd say the more points in despair the better for your strategy.

I used a 5/65 darkhawk with some boosts (to substitute for the lack of suicides) and just outdamaged her regen.

Yes i was thinking of maxing out despair but wasn't able to grind enough units for it, but now i know i have to put my head down and grind cause I'm very close to a 100 percent of this variant. And I'll need despair.

I didn't watch anyone do it with sentinel, but I imagine you'd need to pin rogue against the wall and stay extremely agressive for your debuffs to stick as long as possible, right?

Sentinel's specials create at least a bit of distance as far as I can tell (only occasionally used a 5/50 in V3).

I did that fight TODAY for the first time. I used r3 5-star Mephisto. Long fight but easy. I used 3 or 4 revives, her regen doesn’t happen. If u have Mephisto, make it easy and use him from beginning to end

I did it with Mephisto 5R3
The regen is permanently nullified. All you need is skill after that
