Reduced Gold in quests

So is there a reason that kabam have deemed it necessary (and fair) to reduce the gold won from fights in the monthly quest? It has been reduced an unbelievable amount! Like 100 gold for a master win? Really kabam?

@Kabam Miike can u explain reasons for taking gold away from us?
