Suggestion to Unlock the Map Camera after Initial Completion

I've recently fallen victim to the locked camera in 5.4 and mistakenly teleported to a path I've already taken before. And I'm certain many people have already experienced this as well.
So can we make a suggestion to Kabam to unlock the camera after initial completion? At least for the story quests. It seems unnecessary and would be a great quality of life improvement when one moves on to exploration.
Please also enlighten me and other readers if there exists a better and, ideally, constructive reason why the locked camera exists other than making the game difficult/challenging for players.
