Underrated: Killmonger, makes evade and autoblock easy. I don’t face a modok or medusa or Spider-Man without him. And a high sig Killmonger has pretty good damage output
He's a top 3 Cosmic champion even after all these years. The guy has been affected the least by power creep out of any champ released before 2018. A lot of people think he's completely reliant on "parry heavy" and thus write him off as too niche but in reality the dude has INSANE utility. More unique than any other champ that comes to mind and one of the most broad utility I've come across in the game sans quake or ghost.
Poison immunity is definitely nice
Incinerate on command (with his power gain you can spam sp1 an entire fight without ever needing to parry or intercept)
Armor break (can also be spammed just takes a little more dancing around if you don't want to parry)
Underrated regen - with maxed Recovery my Hyperion regenerates about 30% health, his regen is on par with Dr Voodoo just harder to activate.
Easiest answer for Unblockable/stun immune opponents - as I've said before, as long as your power gain buff isn't removed, hyperion can just spam L1's and never let the opponent touch him, it also works on the Aegis intercept node if you get used to the timing.
Damage unreliant on Crits - ever since Ghost and Corvus took the game by storm, Kabam has released more and more nodes that punish critical hits. this has actually worked in Hyperion's favor as his crit rate is low. He relies on fury and cosmic charges to boost his attack to insane levels, and incinerate so he can dish out a ton of damage without taking the punishment for critical hits that other champs fall victim to.
Tanky AF - his health pool is very good (second to only 6*R2 sentinel out of all my R5/R2 champs) combined with the increased physical resistance from the cosmic charges makes him a gigantic tank.
I talked myself out of R5 him for too long, once I did I have had no regrets. He was my first ever "god tier" 5* and my first God Tier dupe as well. I did him a great injustice by waiting to use my 4-5 Gem on him so this writeup is my way of making up for that.
Underrated : Iron Man Infinity War as an attacker.
