So the title basically explains everything but i just want to know how to use him effectively and get the most out of him

Repeat until I have over a bar of energy and they have almost 2
Fire off sp1 which is unblockable
Hit into them with light attacks to steal their energy until sp2 can be hit
That's my general rotation for most fights but for longer fights an sp3 into the rotation is useful.
