Is Blade still relevant in 2020?

Do you guys think he's overrated now and not relevant anymore in 2020? Or do you feel like he is still a valuable champion?

Blade is still one of the best champions in the game. He’s not the ‘best’ at anything, outside of regen, but there are very few matchups that he’s actually ‘bad’ at.

In terms of his use for a player’s story progression Act 5 bosses are either Mystics, Villains or Dimension beings with a few exceptions. Act 6 is the same deal, the difference being you do need those synergies at 5*, rather than any rarity. If you can tap into his Danger sense his damage output, even against bleed immune champions is still very good, certainly comparable with the traditional damage dealers like Domino etc.

Awakened he is a walking credit card for any player - you never need to pop more than a 20% revive against 90% of matchups.

His ability to semi-shut down villains/Dimensional beings is invaluable in many scenarios, especially champions like Modok (6k mediums please and less autoblock, yes please).

You can take him on immunity lanes with a degree of success if you don’t throw specials because of his shrugging debuffs based on power (they need to bleed for this to be viable).

TLDR - he’s still one of the top champions in the game, well worth a generic, especially if you’ve got a lot of content to clear through. I have used him in virtually every quest (if not Lane) at some point throughout Act 6.

He’s lost a bit of his value in the meta but he’s still one of the top champs in the game. Regen on demand is one of the most valuable abilities you can have.

He also has uses on certain paths in current end game content. I used him quite a fair bit in Act 6 and he provided a solution to some of the more difficult paths in the Act 7 beta that others couldn’t handle.

I still use him all the time, Danger sense has proven to be extremely useful still as he makes fights in AW like Doom a lot easier. He's a great thing counter as well as his regen is still one of the best in the game. Might not be the best champ in the game but he's definitely still up there.

After 6.1 you do not see much videos about him as opponents power index have inflated a lot but in incursions act 5 and new to mid game players as well as uncollected players he has a lot of value.Nick and Aegon though have gone ahead in the skill class.

A champ who’s a top choice for much path 6.1? No, but he still has his uses
