Timer-Bug Fix. What's the problem?

We all know, that timer-bug is being fixed. We also know, that there are many players, many youtubers, content-creators being disgusted of this fix.

Okay, let's make this clear. So let's say, that there is a massive-hp AW boss, let's say, Guilottine 2099 with Flow global tactics. Atackers enter the BG, clear their lanes, clear the minibosses, and there she is, Guilly-boss. And instead of bringing adequate counters, researching for tactics of the fight, using potions, boosts, heals etc. some of the smart-ass players with Corvus Glaive in their teams of 3 attackers, choose to use the tactic of raping the **** out of the game's weakness, heal up Corvus to max health, enter the fight, do the damage they are capable of before dying, and....pause the game :) Timer goes down, damage is dealt, Corvus is alive. The player enters the fight once more, heals Corvus once more, and repeats this, may I say, apocalyptic for the opponent alliance, cycle once more. After couple of this tricky manipulations, Guillotine is taken down. After few more hours, your alliance is winning the war, which it probably should not, if you did not use that Corvus-timer-bug demonic pair.

Re-read previous paragraph once more for the perfect clearance of the situation, and answer one easy, simple question: Is that fair? You know, if you open the Terms of Service of this game, which you probably did not while playing for almost 1-2-3-4 years, choose anyone that suits you, you will see, that there is a line, which says, that one thus shall not use the services of the game for anything other than their intended purpose, including exploiting glitches for personal gain.

Not dying from time out was a glitch/bug, obviously. It was kept in the game because it was simply unseen for the developers, until you, exactly YOU, who are complaining for this bug fix, started raping the daylight out of this bug for your own purposes.

So I'm asking one more time: Why are you still complaining? :)

I don't disagree with the sentiment. I do disagree with your language used. Sounding like an edgy teen to get your point across, doesn't actually help get your point across.

First, you don't seem to understand the true cheesiness of what you can do with corvus. It's worse than what you describe. That said, it would be very rare for that to be a winning strategy in war. AQ is where it's more often abused.

However, there is another side to the story. How about the person who gets to that guilly boss and plays like a beast... but she has 250k health and can regen so in the three minute timer they get her down to about 10% but they're barely alive too. Just hanging on with 1%. Block damage etc. Oh no, sorry. They're dead because timeouts only count above an unknown threshold of health. Have fun wasting a revive.
