I assume I totally have to take salve and willpower off to do this path?

    I did with them on. It is trying to get you to use a robot, as salve and willpower do not apply to robots. If you use persay sentinel, this will not effect you. You can also use the ghost hood synergy and take close to 0 damage.

    Oh didn't think of that, I've been doing most of it with ghost sparky and warlock

    Either a strong ability accuracy reduction champ or ghost with hood
