AQ/AW being stagnant

As everyone knows a lot is going with players just being bored with aq and aw. But what if Kabam made it to where champs are no longer locked into the aq/aw aspect so you can use your team for story progression/ EQ while alliance quests are going on? I think that would be a huge improvement. So, instead of locking out most players top champs they can only be locked out from using the same attack team/ defense for either alliance quest or alliance war. What is talks thoughts on this concept?

    This is a great idea imo. All the lockout really serves is to slow story progression which I think is adding to stagnation in the game since players don't get the option to work on content they want to do
