**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.

There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.
Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

1. I did not know there was a possibility. At best, I could only assume something like that - which I did not. Reread my post - I stated “if I had a choice” which implies I didn’t really consider it as a possibility.
2. Yes it was my decision to get what I chose to get, and when I chose to get it. I’m sure I’m not the only person who did that.
3. I’m not blaming Kabam for anything. That’s your assumption. I explained my dislike of what occurred. Simple as that.
Please read posts thoroughly before making assumptions and responding.
2. Again if there was a possibility of buffs to the rewards then most people would wait for a response from any of the admins as to what and when those buffs would be.
3. The post you were responding to sure looked like they were blaming Kabam for not adding items that equaled the difficulty of the event and in turn you agreed with that post.
My bad for making assumptions. Good day to you.
By that time, I had already used the coins I had.
I agreed with the context of that post regarding the fact that I did not like what had occurred. That’s why I didn’t simply say something like “this.” or “agreed.” But rather chose to express my own thoughts.
Thank you for responding and you too have a good day.
Agree with the first point, which is what several "endgame" commenters in here are ignoring. I've been able to complete my 4 attempts but I have a decent roster and have been cavalier over a year. Others have just reached that point (or are still aiming for it) . Asking them to come into a map where
1. though paths are class-themed, most fights have at least 1 node that pointedly removes the advantage
2. re-rolls become almost pointless because the same "random buffs" return
3. enemies are tuned up to a point they are comparable to variant and act 6 difficulty
4. there is no way to scout the map to see if what you bring can counter the champs + nodes combination
is an issue - they can't complete it, or if they do they waste valuable resources (revives, gold for randomizers, or coins for deleters) for rewards that don't help them progress very much especially with how big the pool of champs are vs the ones that really help accounts progress in content. If they drop down to Master it becomes an even bigger waste of time as 4* don't help anyone going into act 6. This side event is currently designed to frustrate these mid-tier players.
And then you have the tone-deaf people crowing about how easy it is - these players already have the roster to counter all of the above, yet even the recently applied extra rewards don't help them much.
Second point has also been brought up several times - how to make the RNG more useful (or less detrimental) to players. I have 21 6 stars and am halfway to my next..but why would I even want to open another crystal to eyt again gain a champ that won't help me progress? I can't target anyone, and as the pool increases my chance of pulling a good 6* becomes less and less. So even though my 5* roster is quite developed I still get more joy from exploring it than the 6* one, because currently it is frustrating to even look at it. And nothing in the current rewards, be it completing & exploring act 6, abyss or monthly EQs gives me any hope it will improve. Out of my 21 6s, 3 are already dupes and I still wouldn't r2 more than 2 if I had all the resources at hand to do so. Rather than increase the acquisition of 6* shards (which won't solve the issue) there needs to be a way to narrow down the pool.
However, the store is better than the Nick Fury event, because I remember that you basically had to do all the hard event and spend almost everything on the 5* AG.
how much money is enough
Also, the last encounter on the selected path seems a bit over-tuned, even for a somewhat okay mid-level player. I ran into Viz-Aarkus on the last path, only to burn through MORE revives. Admittedly, I botched the first two rounds of fights, but, when Viz-Aarkus manages to shake off 5 parries in a row, that does not inspire confidence that "fight cadences" are the same across the board.
In the end, it's like we've got two boss encounters on the level of Act 5.6 / Act 6.1 for somewhat mediocre daily rewards.
I'm just musing, and I'm not sure if anyone else feels the same. I could be missing the point as well.
Other than that, this is a really good event quest and I appreciate the improvements made to the modok labs. I like this month! Thanks for constantly showing how Kabam is listening and improving on feedback for the game.
So how do you make the difficulty match the rewards, when everyone is judging difficulty subjectively? What's the objective standard for matching difficulty and rewards?
