Collect Samples and get Gold Coins!

Every day, you’ll receive a Sample Collector from a Special Log In Calendar and use them to enter Island of Doctor M.O.D.O.K. Quests! Choose one of 6 class related paths, each with 6 fights (plus the Boss). Complete the Quest, to earn Crystal Shards, Gold, and special Gold Coins that can be spent in the M.O.D.O.K. Hotel Store!

These Quests feature no energy costs, and you can use multiple Sample Collectors to enter it as many times as you want, though you only get one per day. This means that you can do all Quests for the month in one day, as long as you log in and collect the Sample Collector every day.

Like past “Lab” events, each of the fights will draw a pool of 1-3 randomized buffs (based on the difficulty). You can use a Buff Randomizer item (available in the store) to change the set of Buffs. If there is a particular Buff that you think could be trouble, you can use a brand new Buff Deleter to remove it. Don’t be too hasty to remove a Buff though! Buff Deleters can only be purchased for Gold Coins in the M.O.D.O.K. Hotel Store.

Remember to update to version 27.2 before 4 pm PT on June 2nd to ensure you do not miss out on the first day of the Sample Collector Calendar!

For each Quest completion, you will earn:

Class Use Solo Events

Doctor M.O.D.O.K. challenges you to use certain classes on certain days. Win fights with a specific Champion of the day to earn bonus points, and earn even more points by using the class of the day in the Island of Doctor M.O.D.O.K. quests! There won’t be any Rank Rewards, but you’ll earn more Gold Coins to spend in the Hotel M.O.D.O.K. Store by completing the Milestones!

M.O.D.O.K. needs his beauty sleep and will not provide a Class Use event on Sundays.

M.O.D.O.K. Contracts

13 Special Objectives will appear at random times throughout the month! Complete these “Contracts” by finding and defeating the Champions listed on the Special Objective, and collect even more Gold Coins as a reward. These could appear at any time, so keep an eye on your Special Objectives!

Hotel M.O.D.O.K. Store

Similar to the Squirrel Store, you’ll be able to select the rewards you would like to purchase. However, this time, you will not be able to purchase everything in the Store! There will be 3024 Gold Coins available throughout the event (completing Epic Difficulty of the Island of Doctor M.O.D.O.K. every time, and the Veteran Solo Events), so choose wisely!

Remember! This event starts on June 3rd! Make sure you update to version 27.1 before 4 pm PT on June 2ndto ensure you do not miss out on the first day of the Sample Collector Calendar!

So why this event is open during 24h but you can enter only with the ticket you get from the calendar. In my case, I got the ticket at 2am and the Modok event resets at 12pm (noon). So I have 10 hours (mostly while sleeping) to complete the event. I didn't do the event last night and I am quite sure, I lost the ticket. Am I wrong?

You can collect all the tickets from the calander and do all your runs the last day of the event if you so wish, only way you'd lose a ticket is if you entered and backed out

I'm sorry @Kabam Miike ? Why did you add 5* shards in gold shop for cavalier players?? Cavalier players are hunting six stars shards and are only considering these 5* shards to get some additionnal 6* shards. Why keeping uncollected players that are hunting 5* shards from buying them?? Seems like you're always a step late in a meta that YOU established and this is extremely frustrating.

I can assure you that many cavalier players still hunt 5* shards.
6* shards are nice but I just assume the 6* will be useless so don’t care much for them.

Sorry, after further discussion with teammate. The breakdown in previous post is not correct. The weekend mission is part of the Contract (just offer more missionsinstead). So point 1 and 2 should become combined as:

1. Contracts (total 13, but mission number varies): total 360 coins
2. Weekdays daily milestone (5 sections): 36 coins x 24 = 864 coins
3. Epic event completion: 60 coins x 30 = 1,800

Thanks for updating the rewards but why bring 5 star shards only for the cavalier players? Everyone who has become uncollected is gonna need 5 stars to become cavalier due to the restrictions so why limit them by not allowing them to purchase 5 star shards in this event because they most likely need it alot more than people who already became cavalier

Uncollected don't get access to 5* shards!? WHY!? @Kabam Miike KABAM put a 5* gate in ACT 6 to get Cavalier but you "stop" Uncollected players from building a 5 star roster by excluding them from the 5 star shards ... why is that? What is the logic in this?
2nd How am I supposed to get Cavalier if you restrict my access to 5* shards !? Not all of us are youtubers that spend 400$ weekly on chrysalis.. I get my 5* shards from playing the game ... not spending... and this update to HOTEL MODOK is making me think that Kabam have lost touch with their own community... stop listening to the 3% big spenders in game ,if you ( @Kabam Miike @Kabam Lyra ) and KABAM pander to them and forget the rest of us .. you will make a game for that 3% of players and the rest of us will just quit because we will be left behind.

Still don't understand why uncollected don't have access to 5* shards in the store. Feel like the rewards are specifically laid out to punish uncollected for not being cavalier. Such a limited store to help further rosters. Overflowing t4b in the stash, and can only get 3k T5B shards? My Cav account can only get 18k? That's not even a half of one.

For the difficulty of the Epic level, the store stinks.

Which still $ucks. Even then that's 1/6th of a T5B. The last store, if I remember correctly had much better purchase limits for advance cats. I wish I would have screenshotted it. I just don't remember being annoyed with the offerings as I am in this go of it. It really is a joke. Add in the fact uncollected has no 5* shard options in the store. If uncollected are pushing into act 6 where they can't use 4's, why the F are 4* shards the highest option for crystal shards? Makes zero sense. Just like they can't get any 5* sig stones either. Again, nothing to really help the 5* roster for uncollected. Frikkin' joke.
