The game could signal, in the formation of the team for the war, if that hero is already inserted in the map, in the same way that signals the synergies.

This would help to diversify the maps and the alliances to gain more points would be important. Also, whoever leaves to position team later, would have more difficulties to put unique heroes.

I think it would be a good update, I would suggest and put into discussion.

Some sort of notification people see right before they commit the Defenders. During champ selection a glow similar to an arena boost to signify if a champ has been placed would work.
It is extremely difficult to manage 30 people placing and having them cross check against all 3 BGs in real time.

We need option to back out when placing as well in case 2 people join at same time and don't see they duped each other.. If you're going to give us 24 hrs to edit, then let us edit.
