What if aegon was an option

Nick is miles above aegon, not even a debate in any way
I wouldn't say miles better. It's pretty debatable between the two if you ask me. Whichever may be better, there's no denying that it'll only be by a hair.
    It's really not even close
Nick may be better, but it's not like he blows aegon out the park

That doesn't leave Aegon with a whole lot to be on top for

    Bleed immune opponents
    Biohazard path
    Freezerburn path
    Bleed path
    Poison path
    Incinerate path

    And...

Bleed immune Void on long distance relationship node :D

It would be much more correct to say that they're really hard to compare. Nick can do some crazy damage without much work, but for that he relies on his bleed. Aegon can also do some crazy damage, but for that he needs a few fights to fodderize first.

Comparing their utility is even more complicated.

I'm actually currently exploring 6.2.4. and after I've done all the gated paths I actually found myself bringing both aegon (2/35) and nick (5/65).

In other missions I might bring only one or neither of them.

They don't exactly intersect much when it comes to their usefulness although they do share some mechanics/abilities.

But I still can't agree with either being far from the other.
Yeah I agree. It's really weird to compare them. But no way is one wayyyy far from the other.

Why wouldn't you just take better champs for all those paths than Aegon though? Using him in anything outside huge health pools is rarely the best option

True but I was just comparing the two in their own light. My first 6*r3 was a choice between Aegon and Nick and I chose the latter. But I agree with Umberto. It’s not as clear cut as you suggest.

Didn't Lagacy R3 his 6* Hit Mokey before his Nick Fury?

yes. But taking someone to r3 and using a gem on them are two entirely separate things.
