Has anyone know how the summoner advancement work?

I did a simple check by open a 4* crystal and quite confuse. Before open, I have about 10k points. After open it became 11k points. However, in the description it says open 4* will give 5k points. See the screenshot below.

    Hmm. Just check again and you might be right. So, to get 5k points froma 4* crystal, the only way is via some quest reward. So what happen if the quest give us 5* crystal or 6* crystal?

    They will fall under shards. In case you haven't experienced before when you do recieve a full 5 star crystal it will be under your shards tab.

    If you also look at the summoner advancement points, 5 star only have shards. And its d same for 5* & 6* featured crystals

    4 star crystals are different from 4 star shard crystals.
    I learned that the hard way after getting yelled at by my alliance leader for going 12k points over my SA limit
