Question regarding AW

Since the update we cant seem to get a fair AW

we are a 4 mill alliance & constantly paired against 10mill + alliances. its now at the point we wont even be getting 4* shards from defeats and we were silver 3 before update. Something seems really off

i just looked at current war and are enemy is at 20MILLION POWER RATING !! . Whats the point of playing war if this is how the new system is?

    You were placed too high due to old matchmaking. New matchmaking should level out to match alliances of equal skill

    There's nothing about skill when you're pitting Alliances 4 and 5 times bigger against people. Just like there was nothing about skill when Defender Kills existed and Alliances just had to lay Defense to win.

    Several threads on this already. Your war rating is the same... So you are even matched by rating now. Sadly, you should not have been that high to begin with and the previous system was very flawed in the reverse where high prestige allies were stuck unable to climb because smaller prestige allies like yourselves had the unfair advantage.

    This season will be a lot like this for you and many others while the people who were held back all this time are storming the gate to get to where they rightfully belong and you will settle in at a lower tier where you actually belong. It's just gonna take a few wars to all rebalance itself in the meantime.

    but when you never have to face alliances in your tier and face alliances well below you and you get rewards you don't deserve, it's all good and dandy. sit down with your high-and-mightiness for the people stuff.

    Nice way to dodge what they actually said. You should go into politics, you're irritating enough to fit right in.

    What they said was the new matchmaking SHOULD level out to match alliances of equal skill. That doesn't mean it has levelled out yet, but in time it will.

    As a nearly 40 year old man, I would have expected your reading and language comprehension to be better GW.
