No rewards for “You’re the Real Star” when using 4*

I just went through the first level of Cavalier quest. I took four 5*s and 1 4* Medusa. I proceeded to solo Warlock with Medusa however I never received the awards for You’re the Real Star even though it reads that you have to defeat the boss with only four star team. Are they implying they even though the five stars never saw that battle, they still count as fighting him?
