  I don’t think that’s up to him. He needs to tap the screen to either block, hit or dash. Plus tapping for specials is a good move sometimes. For him specifically tap the special bar when you have one bar of power, then continue to tap.

  I’d awaken him if you can.
  
  Regradless though dash back and evade like you would starky until you build your shield to max durability.
  
  Use s1 to inflict slow and increase your power gain rate. Refresh with heavy attacks.
  
  S2 does big damage. S3 puts trauma debuff in which can also be refreshed with s1.
  
  Ideal rotation is s1, s3 and then spam s2s provided you can keep the debuffs up.

  Use sp1, heavies to refresh slow, sp2, heavies to refresh that with the slow, and just attack while refreshing those debuffs

  That’s a better choice for sure. RG is terrific for any nodes that punishes buffs like spite and a very good Doom and Mojo counter.

  His damage will likely be underwhelming until you get him awakened and high sig (like 120+ to add 3 more durability charges to his shield) - til then he’s probably a specialist for nodes/champs where u need his no-buff utility.
  
  He’s also nice synergy for Omega Red if u run him.
