There are total 35 keys to be released in Mutant treasure island.
Haven’t kept a track of how many I opened

How many more keys are yet to be available.

Just take a look at the timer. 21 more days until Treasure Island (and EQ) are ending. So 21x Keys plus some more for Cash?

You could otherwise just look at how many paths you have unlocked, and subtract that from 35?
It indeed comes down to 21 more.

I think they won’t do that since keys have value, they’ll convert any used keys to shards. But take my advice with salt

Last week might feature them in daily Cavalier and so on offers. Not like there would be anything highly valuable left after 35 paths are already done ...

But, after using all 35x Keys you should already have all the valuable Rewards like T2A/T5B/T5CC, 5* AGs, 5*/6* Shards ... even Gold, Sig Stones and minor stuff.

The whole mission contains 28 paths ... some with T4B/T4CC which I don’t want to collect. I‘m rather taking the 4* Shards or 4* AG from low difficulties. lol

So they could sell some Keys, because until then nothing really worth the money is left on the Island.
