**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.

There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.
Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

It’s damn near impossible to satisfy every member of the community in each update; we all have different needs for our accounts, so that’s perfectly understandable. I’m just glad these dated events are being improved upon at all (though I wish we would’ve been able to convert our existing shards to the new ones). Thankfully they’ve still left the revive and 25 units in there. Anyways, yes, I see this as a step in the right direction, and I’ve been looking forward to it ever since I first heard it mentioned in the Dev Diaries.
Nice update I guess. Kinda sad I hoarded those shards for nothing though. Oh well
They’ve said from the word go that we shouldn’t hoard, it’s be very much out of character to the reward that
5* prestige is currently hard capped around the 10700-10800 region, so there’s only so much it can do to move that needle after a certain point. And the power creep we’ve seen in the past two years enables most players to clear most content with a variety of different champs without relying on a bunch of sig 200 abilities.
Tldr: I agree with the game team’s decision to introduce a new set of solo shards. I disagree with your claim that an influx of 5* sig stones would break the game economy. Especially if we look at the drop rate distribution of current solo crystals, I doubt 5* sig stones will have a high enough % for us to be dealing with a flood of ‘hundreds of thousands of potential sigs’.
Its not even 1 week and you ruined the plan .. Now I am upset..
Anyone actually finish that daily objective...more than once a month?
However, are any changes happening when they're converted? Like, to the rewards in them?
Can I make three suggestions; any one of which could take the sting out of having literally thousands crystals which are essentially useless?
1 - just take the XP boosts out of the Greater Solo crystals; and/or add in Battle Chips.
2 - let us sell them (at a loss!), like the Trade In Quest Crystal selling for 100 quest crystals. Make a Trade In Solo crystal, or something. I'm sure it would represent a poor value conversion, but it would be worth it to many of us, just to save the time of popping 10 crystals at a time.
3 - can we open more at a time? 20 or 50 at a time would help us churn through them.
Being able to sell Iso-8 direct from the stash had been really helpful (thank you!).
If we could filter our overflow in the same way to sell or Arena boosts/XP boosts 100 at a time, then at least that would let people convert them into gold. How does that sound?
there is still only a limited amount of Sigs available every month, whether through Events or Offers
I have not denied this, I merely stated that 4* and 5* sigs are rather plentiful in the current state of the game.
Everyone likes to think that Resources added to the system are hardly game breaking, but they don't actually expand their attention to the various systems those Resources would affect
Everyone? It’s rather condescending to suggest that no one else is sufficiently observant of the effects of certain resources being added to the game. In any case, I’ve already outlined my opinion that an influx of sigs will neither break the prestige race nor supercharge player progression - you can find this in my previous comment.
releasing hundreds and thousands into the game at once would be a mess
Just to clarify once more, I’ve never suggested that doing so would be a good idea. I certainly think it would be an inadvisable move from a financial standpoint, but I don’t quite think it would be as much of a mess as you seem to think.
I think it might be prudent to reiterate here (again) that I agree with the game team’s decision to introduce a whole new set of Solo Shards to prevent stockpilers from cashing in on the new Supreme Solo Crystals. I’m just unconvinced that an influx of 5* sig stones in today’s meta will be as gamebreaking as you suggest. No need to get carried away with peripheral details beyond that, I think.
