What about those of us finishing up the show up difficulty? The million gold and 900k 5* shards is quite a bit to miss because of such an error. No way to get that rectified?
Due to unforeseen technical difficulties, our Summoner Showdown Qualifier Week 3 Fight against Iron Man (Infinity War) (the "event") experienced premature expiration. We acknowledge the frustration and confusion this may have caused and extend our sincerest apologies to all affected players.
After thorough investigation, our team confirms that any endeavours to resume the event will result in a compromised experience for our players. In the interest of preventing further interruptions to our system and the app, and in accordance with Section 14 of the 2020 Summoner Showdown Tournament Official Rules, we will be using the leaderboard at the time the event was terminated to determine the players who will advance to the next stage of the Tournament.

Maybe kind of resolution would be giving some consolation prizes to challengers below first place. I know I am suggesting it from perspective of player personally interested on it, but even if I wouldn't, I am sure that I would have same view. 7h of difference could make huge change in leaderboard (but also could not, we don't know). I believe that keeping 1st place of these who had the best time (and fulfil other conditions) is fair since we all had same ammount of time (no one had handicap). But for players that invested units on masteries and their time, mostly in believe that it will end as announced such kind of compensation would also be fair in my opinion, especially that they actually did great score too. Rewards for reaching semi-finals are material value and in-game value. I think, it wouldn't cost developers too much if they give to challengers from top 10 or so in-game value prizes. It is worth consider definitely imo.
