Just make the title for 100% A6 and AoL 100% like what @Worknprogress suggested. It’ll stop all the whining.

And when players finally reach that level, they’ll know why it’s set there.

(I’ve always been a proponent of Story Quest Milestone Titles being put in Exploration. It sets the expectation and min requirement for the title, rather than just unit-manning it once and leaving it alone.)
I agree that it shld be a6 100% (even though I’ve only explored chapters 1-2), but I feel like the progression is story-based so Abyss shouldn’t be a part. TBH, I think they shld require Act 6 exploration and like Act 7 Chapter 1 exploration.

The 6* R3 requirement is complete BS. I have 27 6* and not a single one of them is R3 worthy as they are either **** champs or need the dupe which will never happen if I take them beyond R1.

This is why I hate it when people complain about having no one to rank up. They almost always have plenty of rank up options but since they aren’t Ghost, Corvus, or Doom they just whine about it. Man-Thing, Hulkbuster, Sentinel, Morningstar, Mojo, Psylocke, and even GG and Dorm are all good/viable 6r3s.

It shouldn't be for completion it should be for exploration there isn't enough of a progression difference to deem a title necessary!

To be really clear here (and let the dislikes pour in), this is meant to be a differentiating factor between players in the Cavalier progression level, and those that are far advanced from there.

As you guys are well aware, there is a huge breadth of players that have hit Cavalier status, from those that have beaten Act 6 Chapter 1 just once, to those that have explored Abyss of Legends, and take on the Grandmaster and Champion bosses daily just for fun.

It becomes extremely difficult for us to make content that targets everybody in that group when one end is so far ahead of the other. As we moved away from making Act content our measuring stick for Summoner Roster and Skill Progression, we had to move to other measurements. Having 1x Rank 3 6-Star is quite low on the scale of differentiation since many of these Summoners have quite a lot more.

If you haven't hit that point yet, that's okay. There's still a lot for you to benefit from as a Cavalier, and those benefits will help you as you progress and grow towards the next level.

I didn't read this comment before. But I'm starting to understand why they did it, I guess r3 6* was their only way out currently, that's understandable I guess.

I didn't read this comment before. But I'm starting to understand why they did it, I guess r3 6* was their only way out currently, that's understandable I guess.

I like to think of it as this way, putting their gates being 6* r3, they're expecting a fairly developed 5* roster too, which means content can be catered to them. The majority of players have been complaining about specific fights or niche fights, which are targeted mostly towards throne breakers.

In future, this gap allows us to keep in line with content released, and not putting up with extra hard content that's on higher end of difficulty just because the upper players brought the average up. It's a win-win situation maybe.

By forcing to nerf the requirements, remember that you'll also have to put up with extra hard content that's not aimed at you in the first place, it'll be an endless stream of just complaining..

I understand that there can be a big gap between players that 100% act 6 and 100% abyss and between players that only did completion of act 6.
But they need to do it differently maybe let two options for it, the current one or getting one of the titles from 100% act 6 or from completion of abyss.
This way you know they have the t5cc but no need to rank champs they don't want if they got unlucky with the 6* pulls.
With their current decision they differ f2p from spenders that pop lots of crystals.

Really excited for this. Rewards dont seem great but I always felt like there should be a big difference between the top end of players. Title isnt going anywhere and 6 stars have become more abundant. Keep opening crystals and you will be able to pass the gate

worth is relative. There are a lot of worthy rankups bypass becuase they are waiting for an even better, and in that time they could have done so much better and gotten more rewards.

Isnt worth taking up is purely subjective. Its upto you whether you want to rank her up or not. Weigh the pros and cons. If you arent gonna rank 3 her then you arent getting the title which means you dont think its worth it so I dont see the problem. Cavalier title is good enough for most ppl in this thread, specially those who havent explored 6.4 and abyss.

But this title is basically forcing me into hitting a button. Seems like a really silly requirement. And If you dont think so then give your head a shake.

No they're not. They aren't dupped. You need a dup to keep up with the prestige rank, if you rank anybody especially an Omega red for r3 6* with 0 dups will hold you back even further than simply waiting for the dup. These items are still way too rare to rank up, unfortunately a title is tied to it.

Then thats on you to not rank them up not kabam. I would personally rank them up except sabre. Def mags and colossus but you are waiting for the near perfect situation which has its downsides like every other decision in the game.

Progression titles have always been rewarded to those that hit buttons lmao. I am very interested in seeing someone get cavalier without hitting a button. Like I said weigh the options and decide for yourself. Ppl in this thread act as if thronebreaker title is gonna be break the game or they have to have hit so if its that significant then isnt rank 3ing a character that isnt your a top choice a small price to pay?
there are alot of people that have the rankup materials to get a champ to r3 but just dont have a champ they deem worthy to make that move or a champ that they will have fun using at R3. I think its silly to stop them from getting that title solely based on hitting a rankup button. I never said anything about breaking the game but I do think it is unfair that they will miss out on a reward bump even though they have progressed far enough in the game to get the title minus hitting the rankup button.

Clearly the requirement isnt whether you have the rankup resources. The title is based on 3 things: 'skill', rankup materials AND champion. Everyone is only looking at the first 2 and getting mad when there is a 3rd requirement to differentiate the top players. I personally believe that someone shouldnt complain about the requirement unless they have explored all of Act 6 and abyss and still have that problem but I can assure that there is a very valid way to get the title from that position.

You don't need a Dup to increase your Prestige. That happens with any first R3 6*. Further to that, any decent Champ will bring a Roster further to use. Not just the God Tiers. I mean, unless someone Ranks a Champ that's completely one-dimensional.

So I don’t just have the resources for a rank 3 and have act 6 100%.... I have 2 SCIENCE T5CC..... given that I have no science I feel comfortable ranking as a 6*, I think it is a very bad choice to base a progression title on an RNG rank up material.
This is a choice that you have to make. You are under no pressure to choose one of those Champions if you don't want to. This title is not going anywhere. As T5CC become more common, you'll have more choices, but at this time, this is the way that we have decided to separate the next tier in a way that takes into account both your progression in-game, and your roster progression.
Then stop putting trash into the 6* pool. This is a complete RNG title. Get lucky with the champs you pull and the t5cc. Completing act 6 takes skill, Getting the right champs is RNG and should not be a part of a freaking title.

This is why they should make the featured 6* crystals much better,..so they are basing it on RNG,... that’s fine if they have a 100% guarantee that a champ you can get from a crystal is premium. To me that is the justification of spending the extra 5000 6* shards,..but when there’s still Yondu/ Ultron/ oml / WS/ Rulk/ kk...and so on,..in a featured?

No ones gonna R3 those.

You guys got to stop being disingenuous when it comes to ranking up just any old champion. The prestige race is real and people get booted everyday for having terrible rank ups that hold their roster back prestige wise. This is what these guys are waiting to do. Everyone in my alliance has at least 1 t5cc but some have no dups that are worthy. Asking someone to rank up any undupped champion is disingenuous. I better see KG or Kingpin on your profile or some worthless champion on your roster at r3 if you want to speak on others rankups.

This is coming from a guy with 3 total t5cc right now that I haven't used yet waiting for the right dup or champ to give it to.

Bro cmon you rlly think it’s a necessary requirement to have a r3it’s been story based progression title and there’s never been other requirements like they aren’t giving the players that are in between being a full on endgame player like yourself who has everything 100% done and a basic player that just got cavalier any middle ground I have half of act 6 explored and completed it a couple months ago and everything except abyss done besides that... I have 24 six star champs none of which are from cav crystals and I don’t even have a r2 yet bc none of them are worth a r2 let alone r3 the closest I am to a t5cc is both half a tech and half a cosmic and no good options for when I form them.... would u if you were kabam keep this requirement or no?

What’re u saying? Who exactly was against the act 6 nerfs and why would they be? What do you mean act 6 is still targeting endgame players just like before they just toned down attack and Health which was necessary when you were losing stupid amounts of health on block or even parries. Also kabam put bs money grabbing boss fights and path fights purposely so as a result of their greediness they finally listened to reasonable concerns and changed some like the champion fight... they’ve always been called story based progression title as in you don’t need any other random requirement not pertaining to how far you are into story mode so how ab we keep it that way
If you think what act 6 is now and what act 7 is is targeted at actual end game players, you're absolutely fooling yourself. I explored the beta about as easily as a monthly EQ. That's not targeted at "end game players". Story content is a joke now for the upper tiers

Everyone seems to want to have their cake and eat it too. Oh this is too hard make it easy for me, oh but I want a good star for beating it too. Come on guys. A single R3 is nothing when it comes to this point in the game, I have 10. Even without spending what I do, I'd have multiple.
The new beta was easy to clear the lane no deaths if you have a good roster of counters. The original beta was brutal you would be dropping team revives to clear a lane and some paths had only one counter for several fights. It is not hard easier than 6.4 before the nerf. I am not even top 100 aq or war and have 5 r3. New content is not going to be brutally hard any more just a challenge where you have to pay attention. Cavalier was easy the only challenge was 4 star usage.
I would be happy if they made it 100% act 6 and at least one path in abyss. Then all this whining would stop about RNG but shift to it is too hard.

Initial clear of Abyss is incredibly easy if you have a dup 5 star or 6 star Aegon on any level. I think the complaints would actually be less.

Let me get this straight. You get booted for not having a high enough prestige but tons of ppl in your alliance dont have a rank 3 and you are waiting for a prestige option meaning a high prestige champ + awaken + dupe?
